HANDMADE FABRICS: THE HEART OF INDIA
While, all of us desire to achieve perfection in everything we do, there is a certain attraction towards small and little imperfections in everything. Nobody is perfect and it is these imperfections which have helped us hold together a civilised society where people with different imperfections co-exist in harmony.
In today’s modern age, machines mass produce garments. These machines are designed to achieve perfection. They make no mistakes. However, they also take away a personal touch we all desire. It takes out the life out of the garments. It becomes just another piece of clothing and not something a person can really get attached to. As it is widely said, “If you can’t make a mistake, you can’t make anything”.
